If You Don’t Know Who She Is…
This is Juliette Porter of Siesta Key… and for some reason she is the main focus on the show Siesta Key. If someone knows the reason why please reach out to me in an email because I am just stumped! All I do is roll my eyes whenever she comes on screen because she is always whining about her life some how or trying to piggy back on ideas from the other cast members… Such as Kelsey Owens.
Kelsey started her own swim suite line and not long after so did Juliette. On season 4 it was just a constant back and forth of “I had this idea first” and “Mine are better than yours”. I kept feeling bad for Kelsey especially in episode 7 when Juliette straight up punched her in the face when egged on for “flirting” with Kelseys boyfriend Max.
Juliette hit her so hard she split Kelseys’ poor lip right open! Who does this kind of stuff?? An immature spoiled girl with no consequences.
And what did her BF at the time (now broken up and moved on) do? He just rewarded her with a brand new range rover… like good job babe, you made a fool out of yourself and got us kicked off the show for an episode even though I rented out the whole island, but let me take you to Miami and party there instead because I’m a billionaire…. like wtf?
Not to mention this was NOT the first time she has gotten violent with cast members. Cara and Chloe have been victims of punching, slapping and kicking in other seasons.
What Does She Brings To Siesta Key
Seriously… besides creating drama out of no where, what does she actually contribute to the show? She doesn’t have a personality unless she borrows it from another cast member. Or she steals some grand idea someone else had and pretends like it was hers even before they said anything. She lives a life without the backlash of her actions and just blissfully moves on. In a way I’m sure we all would like to live the life of Juliette but at the same time do we really want to be that classless?
Honestly at first I felt bad for her then boyfriend Sam Logan, having to put up with her constant crying, bullying, and dumbass theatrics. But I only felt a little bad for him since he saw over and over how shallow of a person she is and he continued to want to be with her. So what does that say about him in the end? That he wanted a yes man girlfriend? Or maybe he enjoyed the fact that she’s just an empty husk that he could fill with whatever he wanted. Probably forgot to account for whatever her friends put into her head as well.
In Conclusion
This show has so much potential! If only they would make the show about someone with an actual personality… If there was any other person on this show to follow around, it should be either Kelsey or Cara. Even Amanda would be better!
Come on Siesta Key, get an actual main character. Stop trying to make a supporting cast member the star. It’s just NOT working….
